Mrs. Felice L. Macias, age 83, of Santa Fe died peacefully on Sunday June 14th in Santa Fe. She was born May 18, 1926 in Flagstaff, AZ. to the late Francisco and Elena Lomeli. She met and married her beloved husband Gonzalo at the Santa Fe bus station while passing through town. They were married for 65 years and raised a large family together, she will be dearly missed. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her adopted son Manuel Macias. She is survived by her beloved husband Gonzalo Macias of Rosewell, her dear children; Joel Macias and wife Charlene of Oceanside, C.A., Arlene Erives and husband Elier or Moriarty, N.M., Luis Macias of Albuquerque, Helen Anaya and husband John, Gus Macias and wife Shirley, Dorothy Martinez and husband Dino, Tammy Martinez and husband Tim, Ivan Macias and wife Gladis, Theresa Macias and Javier Macias all of Santa Fe, siblings; Frank Lomeli, Lalo Lomeli, Katie Espinoza, Emily Kelly and Fina Lomeli; over 100 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren whom she loved very much, as well as other relatives. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday June 16th at 6:00 p.m. with The Recitation of the rosary to follow at 7:00 pm at St. Annes Catholic Church in Santa Fe, the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at the same church, with interment to follow at The Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Francisco Macias, Johnny Quintana, Jesus Anaya, Isaac Martinez, Raymond Macias and Nick Macias, with Marcos Catanach as an honorary pallbearer.
