Felipe C. (Tino) Trujillo

Felipe C. Trujillo, 88 – Entered eternal rest on Monday, January 21, 2019. Tino and his late wife loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and family gatherings. He also loved playing his guitar for his family and friends. Mr. Trujillo’s other hobbies included jewelry making and spending time at the casino where he socialized with his friends. Tino is preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Juanita Trujillo and his sons, Leroy, Eddie and Augustine Trujillo. He is survived by his sons: Felipe C. Trujillo, Jr. (Veronica), Henry Trujillo (Andres); daughters: Virginia Carreno (Jesus), Joann Espinosa (Abel) and Terri Davis; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Trujillo (Leroy). An honorary mention for Leroy Trujillo, Jr. whom he mentored and helped raise. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He will be honored and remembered at Kiva Chapel of Light at Rivera Family Funeral Home, 417 East Rodeo Road with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019. A Celebration Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 417 East Agua Fria Street at 9:00 a.m. with the burial to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors. Serving as pallbearers will be: Nikos Alva, Marisol Trujillo, Joaquin, Jasmin McKeller, Thomas Romero and Triston Lucero. Serving as the honorary pallbearers will be all the remaining grandchildren.
