Fernando J. Torrez

Fernando J. Torrez 86, of Chama passed away October 2, 2013. He was in the Marine Corps, and then retired from the Department of Transportation. After retirement he became a full time rancher which was is passion. Mr. Torrez is survived by his daughters Yvonne Torrez-Alshire (Wayne), from Carmel CA, Renee Martinez (Michael) of Albuquerque, NM and a sister Maria Delgado also of Albuquerque, NM. There was a Rosary on Friday, October 4, 2013 at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos. The funeral mass took place on Saturday, October 5, 2013, in Los Ojos. Interment followed with Military Honors.
