He is survived by his children, Iris Quintana (Jeffrey), Ophelia Trujillo (Felimon), and Fidel Trujillo Jr. (Anna), grandchildren, Veronice Quintana, Madelynn Quintana, Roman Quintana, Denisha Rusk (Oscar), Joseph Gonzales, Dominic Trujillo, Darius Trujillo, and Alexander Trujillo, siblings, Frank Trujillo (Deborah), Georgia Trujillo, and Fabiola Trujillo, nephews, who showed great love and cared for him, Tomas Sandoval and Arturo Mondragon and many more nephews and nieces.
Fidel worked in construction as a plasterer in his younger days, one of the best. He loved to be around family and friends. He had a heart of gold and had a great sense of humor; he was quite a comedian. Fidel experienced a brain aneurysm in 1995 which confined him to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He didn’t let that bring him down, as he adjusted to his new way of living and was blessed to have lived many more years. He will always be remembered as a loving person and as a man full of life no matter the circumstances.
The Rosary will be recited on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. and Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10:00 am. Services will take place at Holy Trinity Parish in Arroyo Seco NM, with burial to follow at Campo Santo De La Santisima Trinidad also in Arroyo Seco, NM.
The family would like to thank Rivera’s Funeral Home for the promptness and compassionate services they have shown the family during this difficult time.
