Filomena "Mena" Baca

Filomena V. Baca, age 92 of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away May 9, 2016. She was born March 14, 1924 in Madrid, New Mexico to Teresita and E.A. Baca. Filomena is preceded in death by her parents E.A. and Teresita Baca and sister’s Anne Gonzales and Pablita Baca. She is survived by her niece Patricia Romero (Alvin), nephew David Baca (Nicole), niece Frances Moreno (Fred), nephew Carl Benavidez (Tabitha), niece Rebecca Romero, nephew Al Vincent Romero (Claudia), niece Sarah Romero (David), niece Rachel Romero (Anthony) as well as John and Michael Cunningham whom she raised as her own son’s. A special thanks to Diana Malmalaki -Montoya her loving neighbor and caretaker. Serving as Pallbearers will be David Baca, David Salazar, Al Vincent Romero and Fred Moreno. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Jesse Benavidez, Rebecca Romero, Sarah Romero and Rachel Romero. A Rosary will be recited Friday, May 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kiva Chapel of Light, 417 E. Rodeo Rd. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Parish with Interment to follow at the Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
