Flora Griego

Flora M. Griego, 80, born in La Madera, NM, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacfully Wednesday, July 27th at her home with her family by her side. She married Christobal E. Griego on June 28, 1948 in El rito, NM. She is preceded in death by her father; Octaviano Pena, mother; Epifania Pena. She is survived by her son's; Henry (tina) Griego of la madera, NM, James (Pat)Griego of Espanola, NM, Clifford (Pauline) Griego of Espanola, NM, Kenny (Estella) Griego of Albuquerque, NM, daughter; Linda Garcia of Albuquerque, NM, brother; Manuel Pena of La Madera, NM, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Flora was a very devoted, loving and faithful mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her smile, laughter and warm hugs will be greatly missed, just as much as the smell of her wonderful cooking when you would walk into her home where everyone was always welcomed and loved. She will be greatly missed by every life she ever touched. Recitation of Rosary took place July 29, 2011 at the Morada in La Madera. Mass of christian Burial was held place July 30, 2011 at the Morada also in La Madera. *PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TIME OF THE MASS WAS INITIALLY SET FOR 2:00 P.M., HOWEVER IT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE CURRENT TIME OF 10:00 A.M.
