Flora R. Martinez passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 surrounded by her family. Flora was preceded in death by her Parents, Endalesio and Adelina Rendon; Daughter, Lena Anaya; Sisters, Benedicta Rendon, Bennie C. War, Brothers; Jose A. Rendon Jr.,Pete Rendon, Sigfredo Rendon, Sister in-law, Angelita Rendon, and Brother in-law Ernesto Valdez. Flora is survived by her Husband Joe B. Martinez of 44 years, Sons, David Martinez, Terry Martinez and wife Lenora, Grand Son, Danny Anaya and wife Frieda, Grand Daughters, Jeanelle Anaya, Cindy Chavez and husband Monse, Michelle, Amanda , Delilah Martinez, Siblings, Tita Valdez, Cora Montoya and Husband Mike, Armando Rendon and wife Lynette, Bernie Rendon, Elsie Valdez, and Salomon War. Also survived by many other relatives and friends who she loved dearly. She was a beautiful soul who loved to cook and would invite everyone into her home. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Public visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 4:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde, NM with Interment to follow at 2:15 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Michael Montoya, Andrew Montoya, Rudy Rendon, Clifton Rendon, David Mceachern Jr., Johnny Valdez and Ray War. Honorary pallbearers Jeanelle Anaya, Krizalena and Joshua Jr., Cindy and Monse Chavez, Alejando and Aryannah Chavez, Danny and Frieda Anaya, Amy, Indykah and Janiyah Anaya, Delilah Martinez, Alyssa, Jocelyn, Janessa, and Jacob Martinez. The family of Flora Martinez has entrusted their loved one to the Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola.
