Floyd Martinez

Floyd Martinez, 81 of Chimayo, NM passed away following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Celina Martinez, his parents Esquipula and Terecita Martinez, Grandparents Natividad and Eloisa Martinez, Aunt Vicenta Martinez, sons Jimmy and Chris Martinez, grandsons Christopher and Jesus Martinez, Mr. And Mrs. Nicholas Garduno in laws , And Mr Luciano Garduno brother in law. He is survived by his daughters; Gloria and husband Charlie Martinez, Frances Martinez and companion Eddie Diaz, Bertha and husband Cipriano Bustos, Annabelle and husband Danny Valdez all of Chimayo, Vangie and husband Frank Maestas of San Pedro. Daughters in law Clara and Beverly Martinez of Chimayo. Brothers Horacio and wife Rosina Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Orlando and wife Mariquita Martinez, Ramon and wife Concha Martinez, all of Chimayo and sister Ida Salazar from Espanola. 13 grandchildren: Tebols, Monick Jennifer, Santiago, Rudy, Clarence, Jose, Kimberly, Victoria, Krista, Tabitha, Samantha and Tamara. 15 Great grand children and numerous other relatives and friends. Pall bearers will be Horacio, Monick, Santiago, Rudy Martinez, Clarence Diaz, and James Lopez. Honorary Pall bearers: Tabitha, Samantha, Tamara, Krista, Victoria, Jennifer, Tebols and Kimberly Jose and Joseph. There will be no public visitation at the funeral Home over the weekend however a public visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21st at 6:00pm with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10:00am also at church. Interment will follow at Nuestra Señora de Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo. Rivera Family Funeral Home, Espanola, NM.
