Floyd Pacheco

Floyd Pacheco, 92, was called home to be with the Lord on March 03, 2021. He passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Pacheco, son, Manuel Pacheco, parents, Silviano and Telesfora, brothers; Elmo, Arthur, Rudy and sister, Cordy.

He is survived by his three children, Michael Pacheco (Yvonne), Patricia Ortiz and Rosemary Romero (Gil). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Floyd proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from NM State Government.

The family would like to express gratitude to Floyd’s good friend, Juan Trujillo, who made it a point to call Floyd everyday to see how he was doing. Another special thanks to Floyd’s hospice nurse, Rachel from Ambercare, who cared for Floyd with such gentleness, and kindness.

He was a beloved man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Parish located at 511 Alicia St, Santa Fe, NM followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will take place following the Mass at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM.
