Floyd Trujillo

Floyd J. Trujillo, 48, resident of Santa Fe, passed away on January 8, 2022. He was born on January 31, 1973 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Shirley and Floyd Trujillo. Floyd married Brenda (Atencio) Trujillo in Santa Fe on October 30, 1998.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Shirley Trujillo, sister; Pamela Muniz, grandparents; Rosalie and Joe Trujillo and Lucy and Manuel Ortega.

He is survived by his wife; Brenda (Atencio) Trujillo, sons; Alexander Trujillo, Eric Trujillo, and Daniel Atencio, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friend Ronnie Barela (Sonia).

Floyd served as Chief Technology Officer for the NM Finance Authority.  He previously held similar positions for the Dept. of Health, Tricore Labs, and L1 & Eclipse It Solutions.  The work Floyd was most proud of was his dedication to education.  Floyd served the Turquoise Trail Charter School organization for over 24 years.  During that time he served as President of the Governance Council.

Service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Rivera Family Funeral and Cremation located at 417 East Rodeo Road Santa Fe, NM.
