Flora M. Roybal

Born June 21, 1928   -    Died July 21, 2022

My Beloved Mother was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on the first day of summer June 21, 1928 and lived in Santa Fe all her life.  She was called home to be with her Savior on July 21, 2022. 

My Mother Flora was predeceased by her husband, Barney Roybal (my father).  She was also predeceased by her sisters Margaret Romero, Ruby Sandoval and her brother Florian Garcia. 

My Mother is survived by Linda Baca (me), three grandchildren, Steve Baca, (Rose), Edward Baca and Florence Baca.  She also had four great grandchildren, Rachel, Kassie, Cruz and Jade Baca and was also loved like a grandma by Hailey, Dejah and Rylee. My Mother is also survived by her sister in law Stella Garcia along with many nephews, nieces and wonderful friendships. 

I am forever thankful for my mother’s help in raising my children and my granddaughter Rachel. 

My Mother made memorable friendships when working at Sears downtown for 17 years.  Everyone knew her as a virtuous, loving, kind and generous woman who loved and feared the Lord. She would always say to me, “Never forget what Jesus did for you on the cross and  God is in control.”

I thank my precious Mother who taught and helped me to love, honour and glorify the Lord in all things. What a precious and beautiful Mother God blessed me with.

Oh how we love and miss You Mama…..

A Christian service will be held on August 11 @11 am @ Blaze Christian Fellowship, 6 Bisbee Ct., Santa Fe, NM  87507.  Burial @ 1 pm at the National Cemetery here in Santa Fe, NM

Due to Covid, a reception will not be held after.
