Frances C. Apodaca

FRANCES APODACA

 Frances Apodaca, 91,  of Santa Fe, passed away early Monday, September 9, 2019.  She was born February 2, 1928 in Wagon Mound, NM, the daughter of Beneriza Martinez and Jose Medina, Sr.   She and Roman Apodaca were married in Santa Fe on August 21, 1953.  Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roman, a daughter, Connie Medina, a son-in-law, Rudy Medina, and several brothers and sisters.  She leaves behind her loving family; her daughter Irene Patterson (Michael); grandson, Robert Medina; 3 grand-daughters, Marcella Medina-Whitfill (Jeff), Lisa Patterson (Matt Howland), and Elizabeth Patterson; and her grand-daughter-in-law, Bernadette Ulibarri.  Also surviving are her great grandsons; Joseph Diana, David Medina, and Anthony Garcia; her great grand-daughters, Brittany, Brianna, Brandy, and Carmella Garcia, and Letisha Howland; great-great grandchildren,  Georgia & Vincent Wheeler, and Sephora Rose Medina; and special nephew, Raymond Padilla and wife Jackie.

A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Thursday. September 19, 2019 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brianna Garcia and Joseph Diana; and Honorary Pallbearers will include all of her grandkids.
