Francisco Ovalle

Francisco (Frank) Javier Ovalle, 56, a resident of Santa Fe for 23 years, passed away suddenly in his home on Saturday, January 10, 2009. He was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chiuahua, Mexico on April 2, 1952. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Fela P. Ovalle; brother; Pedro (Pete) Ovalle, sisters; Ofelia Ovalle, and Raquel Lemos, and brother-in-law; Estevan Lemos. He is survived by his wife Maria Ovalle, daughter Michelle and husband Samuel L. Montoya of Santa Fe, son Capt. Pedro (Pete) V. Ovalle of Navarre, FL, daughter Fela and husband Manuel Gallegos of Queen Creek, AZ, 2 grandchildren; Diego and Christina Montoya and 2 granddaughters due in April, brother Jose Ovalle Jr. of Syracuse, NY, brother Ruben Placencia of Florida, brother Manuel Alberto Ovalle and wife Maria of Deming, brother David Ovalle and wife Patsy of Las Cruces and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Santa Maria de la Paz. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm Wednesday, January 14, 2009 also at Santa Maria de la Paz. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Samta Maria de la Paz with internment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be son-in-laws Samuel L. Montoya and Manuel Gallegos and nephews Victor Gallardo, David Joseph Ovalle, Eric James Ovalle, and Manuel Alberto Ovalle Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will include: Diego and Christina Montoya and all his nephews and nieces.
