FRANK MICHAEL BRANSFORD

March 23, 1948 - March 16, 2024

Frank M. Bransford, a lifelong resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Frank was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. Frank worked 22 years for White Swan Laundry, Turquoise Trail Elementary school, and retired from the State of New Mexico. 

It was in Santa Fe 1968 that Frank Bransford met the love of his life Theresa. Excited to start their new life together, the two were married on May 16th 1969. Frank and Theresa couldn’t wait to start a family of their own. In 1969 Frankie Bransford was born, and their lives were always filled with laughter, unpredictability, and unforgettable memories.

Although Frank enjoyed gambling, fishing ,watching horse racing, and his Dallas Cowboys, his favorite role was being a grandpa. In addition to making them laugh or just being their biggest supporter, he cherished the time he had with his grandchildren.

Frank will always be remembered for his kind heart, humorous jokes and most of all his hard work. We’ll always imagine hearing him say “{Ya Pa}” one more time.

Frank Bransford was preceded in death by his parents Mary and John Bransford as well as his grandmother Delfinia Montoya who raised him, numerous family members and dear friends Steve Thiel and Jimmy King. He is survived by his loving Wife Theresa Bransford of 55 years, His son Frankie (Wanda), Daughter Melissa (Missy) Montoya, his 6 Grandchildren Kayla, Faith, and Hope Bransford, Abigail, Lawrence (Daniella), Gillyanna and 3 great grandchildren. Furthermore hissisters Josephine Lucero, Bobbie Maggs (Steve), Esther Martinez (Mike), Patty Martinez (Wilfred), Henrietta Quintana (Tony), Carmela Bransford and Olivia Bransford (Felipe). As well as brothers, Carlos and Henry (Lisa) Bransford, and dear friends Chris (Janet) Romero, Leo Montoya, Andres Martinez (Liz).

His legacy and memory will forever live on with those who knew and loved him.
