Frank Olonia

Frank Olonia Sr., 87 of Taos passed away peacefully on October 16, 2017 with his family by his side at his residence. Frank loved his family, loved his wife dearly and was a fine father to his children. He was a great man with a great sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Rose Olonia, daughter, Ida Lujan, granddaughters, Nicole Sandoval and Stephanie Lujan, brother, Manuel Olonia and son in law, Felix Valencia III. He is survived by his daughters, Josie Valencia of Pecos, Patty Romero of Albuquerque, Frances Martinez (Ray) of Taos, Sandra Olonia (Paul) of Questa, Rosie Romero of Taos, Monica Terrazas (Daniel) of El Prado, sons, Blas Sanchez of Albuquerque, Andy Sanchez (Gloria) of Albuquerque and Frank Olonia Jr. of Taos. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass was held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Las Cruces Cemetery.
