Frank Torres, 74, of Ranchos de Taos, passed away October 26, 2009. He taught at the Taos High School for many years and also at Highland High School in Albuquerque for 10 years. He worked at Sandia National Labs for many summers as a Chemist. Frank also worked as an Educational Consultant in three different Latin American Countries as the Project Director (El Salvador, Ecuador and Bolivia). He loved hooking rugs, gardening, cooking, projects around the house, spending time with family and friends. He had a kind heart, always giving his time to help others. He loved all animals especially his dog, Snoopy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Elvira Torres as well as sisters: Barbara Merhege, Lourdes Maes and Rumalda Montoya. He is survived by wife, Cecelia Torres, children: Ramon Torres (Janeth), Raul Torres (Patty), Maye Torres (Rory Wagner), grandkids: Isaiah, Zachary and Matthias Torres-Trujillo, Nicole and Carolina Wright, favorite dog Snoopy, sisters, Loyola Dolly Montoya (Horacio), Anita Montoya (Arthur B.) brothers, Fidel Torres (Virginia), Carpio Torres (Becky), Gilbert Torres, Joseph Torres (Priscilla), Johnny Torres, brother in law, Vicente Martinez, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial service was held on November 07, 2009 at Rivera Chapel.
