Frank W. Wey, 91, a Santa Fe resident, passed away on November 11, 2016. Frank was born to Alice O’Connell and Frank J. Wey. He is preceded in death by his sister Elaine McDonald and beloved wife Mary Theresa Wey. Frank is survived by his daughter Kathleen Reukauf (Craig), son Francis Wey (Ruth), son William Wey (Nancy), son John Wey(Patty) daughter Mary Alice Conlon (Gregory Gillette) , sister Dorothy Leubert, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews & cousins. Frank was a WWII veteran and was a Purple Heart recipient; he had a career in business, and was an author of several books. A lifelong Catholic, Frank was an active communicant in every parish where he lived. He was an active volunteer in community organizations including Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and SCORE consultant. Frank also had an excellent singing voice and was known for his caring manner and deep spirituality. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Frank to St. Antoine’s Residence in North Smithfield, RI or Presbyterian Medical Services Hospice, Santa Fe. Friends and family are welcome to visit at 8:00am at the Kiva Chapel of Light Chapel, 417 E. Rodeo Rd on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 with a mass to follow at 10:00am at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.
