Fred Delgado

Fred Delgado, 84, a resident of Ensenada, passed away on August 01, 2022. He was born on January 08, 1938 to parents Maria Delgado and Antonio Delgado. Fred was married to Maria Martinez-Delgado.

Fred is preceded in death by his mother Maria Delgado, father Antonio Delgado, daughters Cindy, Patsy, Anita, and Delores Delgado.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria Martinez-Delgado, grandson Stefano Martinez (Savannah Genovese), daughter Lorraine Delgado (Pablo), son Freddie Delgado (Cynthia), son Michael Delgado (Silvia), sister Racheal Atencio (Isaac), brother Fernando Delgado (Clara), brother Kelly Delgado (Cathy), brother Antonio Jr., sister Francis Gallegos (Candido), sister Maddie Delgado, sons Sal Olguin, Danny Martinez (Teddy), Louie Martinez (Theresa), Johnny Martinez (Suzanne), daughter Dorothy Martinez, son Manuel Martinez (Nancy), daughter Tete Martinez (Deanna), and son James Martinez (Gloria).

Fred Delgado was a great man. He loved his wife with great passion as well as family, friends, and his community. He was a Welder, Electrician, and a jack of all trades. There was almost nothing he couldn’t do. The mountains were his home. He loved fishing and hunting. He made everybody smile and laugh. He loved to joke around. As a kid he was known as the rock thrower. He will be missed but never forgotten. Let us remember him with smiles on our faces and laughter in our hearts for the wonderful man he was and always will be.

Pallbearers will be Stefano Martinez, Patrick Montano, Freddie Delgado, Michael Delgado, James Martinez, Louie Martinez, Pablo Rodriguez, and Daniel Vasquez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mathew Delgado, Manuel Delgado, and Joe Martinez.

Services will be held on August 19, 2022 with a Rosary at 10:00 AM, and a Mass at 11:00 AM at the San Jose Parish in Los Ojos, NM.
