Fred Madrid, age 66 of Tierra Amarilla, NM. passed away on Sunday April 8, 2007. He is a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his father Jose La Luz Madrid. He is survived by his mother, Susie Wilton of Espanola; wife, Helen Madrid and her son Anthony Salazar of Tierra Amarilla; children: Freddie Madrid and Ray Madrid both of Kansas, Renee Yoder and her husband Scott of Las Cruces, and Doreen Martinez of Tularosa, brothers and sisters: Oliver Wilton and his wife Juanita of Espanola, Mary Wesley of Phoenix, Amelia Salazar of Española, Loraine Esquibel and husband Gaspar of Santa Fe, Agnes Mercado and husband Rafael of Chicago, IL, Henry Wilton and wife Angela of Española, Herman Madrid and wife Elaine of Albuquerque and Mike Madrid of Socorro; 5 grandchildren; 23 nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos.
