Fredrick Joe Lopez

Fredrick Joe Lopez, 86, a resident of Cuyamungue passed away on November 20, 2018. Fredrick was born in Gilman, Colorado to Jose Inez and Eva Lopez on October 29, 1932. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Lopez; parents: Jose Inez and Eva Lopez; son, Andrew Lopez and daughter Isabel J. DeGeer. Fredrick retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant and was also retired as a Management Analyst with the State of New Mexico. Fredrick is survived by his daughters Molly Delgado and Rebecca Lopez (Dennis); step-son, John Frisco (Barbara); siblings: Charles Lopez (Rose Mary), Lillian Tafoya (Tom), Lydia Maestas (Eli), Julian Lopez (Emmita), Felix Lopez (Louise), Mary Sherman (Bob), Manuel Lopez (Theresa), Martina Ellington (Mike), Joe Lopez (Charlene) and Alejandro Lopez; grandchildren: Carlos Lopez, Andrew Lopez, Lovelea DeGeer, Matthew Mark Wilson, Camille Delgado, Miguel Delgado and Jacob Archuleta; great-grandchildren: Destin Lopez, Cedrick Lopez, Rosalinda DeGeer, Xavier DeGeer, Avery Delgado and Etherial Delgado. Serving as pallbearers will be Carlos Lopez and Jacob Archuleta. A rosary and words of remembrance will be recited on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque, New Mexico. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque with interment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff of PMS Hospice and the staff of Brookdale Assisted Living for their caring services.
