Frutoso A. Lopez, 62, of Taos passed away February 12, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto and Emelina (Emily) Lopez, mother in law, Precy Martinez and sister in law, Lucy Cruz (Bill). He is survived by his wife, Velma Lopez, son, Flavio Lopez, daughter, Alicia Lopez, grandchildren, Andres, Xavier and Diego Lopez, siblings, Eddie Lopez (Debbie), Eloy Lopez (Priscilla), Lydio Lopez, Ernie Lopez (Santana), Sylvia Martinez (Paul), Christine Lopez (Carlos), Frank Lopez (Georgianne), father in-law, Damacio Martinez, brothers in-law, George Martinez (Flora), Mike Martinez (Mary), Jesse Martinez (Vera), many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on February 16, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 10 AM at San Francisco de Asis Church Private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frutoso A. Lopez memorial scholarship fund at Centinel Bank.
