Garry Stramel

Garry Stramel, 77, passed away on April 24, 2017, following a long and valiant fight with cancer with his family by his side. He leaves in body, but remains with them in spirit, the love of his life, Mary Stramel (wife), married 27 years. He is survived by his children Stacy Gallegos and Scott Stramel, his grandchildren Beau Gallegos, Dr. Melisa Hockett, Adam Stramel and Moriah Stramel and his great-grandchildren Griffin, Aubery and Sterling. He is also survived by his sister Cheryl Dinwiddle (Jack), Sandra and Harvey Hopkins and many beloved family members and friends. Born in Hutchinson, Kansas, he spent many treasured years in Santa Fe as a respected and successful businessman. Garry lived a life full of faith and love for his family. Garry was fully confident, and would rather be away from this earthly body, for then he will be at home with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8) Services will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017, at 10:00am in the Kiva Chapel of Light at Rivera Family Funeral Home (417 East Rodeo Road in Santa Fe).
