Gary Hughes

Gary A. Hughes took his final trip, going home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2015. Forever a cowboy he died with his boots on and his hands on the wheel of his semi-truck. Gary was born March 14, 1946, in Rice Lake, WI. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth (Bornick); sons Jeffrey (Jeannie), Jamie (Jenny) and his daughter Angela (Steven) and his only sister Susan (Robert) Love. He loved his seven grandchildren: Orion, Logan, Jazzmyn, Brennan, Jaret, Hunter and Rylee, participating in their lives as often as possible, sometimes incurring the wrath of the umpires. He was always grateful for his many precious and dear friends who remained so faithful to him as he traveled the open road. He loved driving truck for over 45 years and did it as unto God with honor and dependability. Services will be held at Santa Fe Baptist Church, 4977 Agua Fria , Santa Fe, NM 87507 at 11:00 am on Friday, January 9th, 2015.
