Gaspar Vigil

Gaspar Jose Vigil, 85, of Arroyo Hondo passed away on February 02, 2007. He was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, veteran of the European Theatre during WWII and a member of the VFW. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Vigil, parents, Simes & Genoveva Vigil, brothers, Serafin and Paul Vigil. He is survived by his children, Roger Vigil of Arroyo Hondo, Bernice Montoya (Andres) of Des Montes, Gladys Valenzuela (Hector) of Albuquerque and Arnold Vigil (Elaine) of Albuquerque. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother, Donald Vigil (Faby) of Taos, sisters, Consuelo Mares, Ada Garcia (Paul) and Terry Zamora all of Albuquerque and many other relatives. Rosary was recited on February 05, 2007. Funeral mass was held on February 06, 2007. Both services were held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Arroyo Hondo. Interment was held at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
