Gene "Geno" Montano

Gene (Geno) Montaño, age 35, from Pecos N.M. has passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He was born in Grants, NM on February 19, 1982. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Emma Montaño and cousins Lester, Lawrence and Yvette Montaño. He is survived by his mother Naomi and step father Fidencio Burciaga, sister Nicole Montaño (Emmanuel), brother David Valencia (Sofia), daughters Jolene and Shaniya Montaño, son Eugene Montaño, grandfather Florentino Montaño, girlfriend Nicole Perez and favorite niece Marissa Otero. He will be missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. A public viewing will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00pm at the Kiva Capel at Rivera Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Kiva Chapel at Rivera Funeral Home at 11:00am with the service to follow at 12:00pm.
