George Callaghan

George Callaghan, 74, passed away October 28, 2017, a resident of Santa Fe, NM. He was born May 18, 1943 in Aberdeen, SD. He married Jean on June 7, 1964. He is preceded in death by his parents George Callaghan and Cecilia Siemens and Stepfather Ed Siemens. He is survived by his wife Jean Callaghan, brother Clint Siemens, sister-in-law Sandy Siemens, son Scott Callaghan, daughter- in- law Jodi Callaghan, daughter Shawn Tulloch, son-in-law Cam Tulloch, and grandchildren Chelsee & Joe Hardin. George graduated South Dakota School of Mines Bach Chem Engineer and from Purdue University Masters of Industrial Administration. He retired in 2001 after 36 years at Dow Corning Corp, Member WRPC. He served as an Elder & Clerk of Session at White Rock Presbyterian Church and was a former member & youth advisor at Memorial Presbyterian Church, Midland, MI. George enjoyed reading any and all topics. He also loved to travel especially by train. Memorial contributions may be made to White Rock Presbyterian Church and Memorial Presbyterian Church Midland, Michigan. A wake will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 6-8pm at the Kiva Chapel with a memorial service at White Rock Presbyterian Church (310 Rover Boulevard, White Rock, NM) on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00am.
