George Chacon

George Chacón, 63, resident of Taos died April 1st 2017 of a heart attack. He was born in Saguache, CO. He had two loving mothers; Ciria and Edna and his father was Sammie Chacón. He married Beverly Chacon on August 20th, 1984. He is preceded in death by father, Sammie Chacon, maternal mother, Ciria Chacón, mother,Edna Chacon, brother, Sammy Jr and sister, Judith Leyba (Joseph). He is survived by his soulmate, Beverly Chacon, daughters, Regina Chacon (Dana), Amber Hernandez (Randy) Sonja Chacon, mother-in-law, Elvinia Arias, his sisters, Louise Washburn and Deborah Quintana and his brothers, Charles and Eduard Chacon. He is also survived by his in-laws, Albert Arias Jr, Jerry Arias, Joyce Duran, Tim Arias, Nancy Arias, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. He was a well-known artist and musician. He died doing what he loved. A memorial mass was held on April 07, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Memorial and reception followed.
