George Delfino Martinez

Beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother & Uncle, George Delfino Martinez, 82, of Los Cordovas passed away suddenly on July 11, 2011. George was a friendly and funny man who adored his family especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all. He was a well known craftsman, who displayed his beautiful work in several galleries in Taos and many other places. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, working in his shop, enjoying a good restaurant or visiting with his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his good nature and love of life. He will always live on in the memory of his family, friends and many who knew him throughout his life. He will be truly missed, but will never be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his parents, Feloniz and Jesus Martinez, brothers, Benito and Felix Martinez, sisters, Dolores Herrera, Tillie Romero and Teofila Trujillo. He is survived by his loving daughter, Anna Baca de Martinez, her husband Louie, grandchildren, Bonnie Gomez, George Gomez, wife Donna and his two great grandchildren, Alec and Dominic, sisters, Betty Martinez, Mela Chavez and brother Tommy Martinez, along with many nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited on July 15, 2011. Funeral mass was held on July 16, 2011. Both services were held at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church.
