George Lopez

George Lopez, age 42 of Espanola passed away on Saturday June 5, 2010. He was born in Downey, CA. on August 14, 1967 to Shaya Lopez and George Lopez. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Benito and Tita Espinoza and paternal grandparents Amador Lopez and Ercilia Mollahan. Mr. Lopez is survived by his parents, brother Ben Lopez and wife Leanne, sisters; Deborah Archuleta, Velvet Money, Crystal Gonzales and Georgia Montano. Aunts & Uncles include Gene and Rosina Lopez, Ambrosio Espinoza, Robert & Betty Espinoza, Bill and Annie Mendoza, Charlotte Sanchez, Chuck Mollahan and Leroy and Celina Lopez. He is also survived by Godparents Andres and Lucy Martinez, 9 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces & nephews, many cousins and friends who loved him very much. Recitation of the rosary will be on Tuesday June 8th at 7:00 p.m. at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. The mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday June 9th at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia De Santa cruz De La Canada with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers named will be: Tony Valdez, Ricky Chavez, Zachary Gonzales, Bobby and Andrew Espinoza and Edward Gallegos, honorary pallbearers are Michael Money, Theresa Lopez, and Betty and Theresa Gallegos.
