George Mares

George D. Mares, 46, of Canon passed away on January 13, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Consuelo Mares and sister, Vickie Rodriguez. He is survived by his children, Kimberly, Kevin and Marissa Mares, brothers, Alfred Mares (Deborah), Michael Mares (Roberta) and Larry Mares, sisters, Jo Anne Sandoval (Tommy), Elsie Marquez (Ramon) and Alice Mares (Mike Sanchez), godsons, Marcos Romo and Miguel Gonzales, mother of his children, Lupita Garcia and many other relatives. Rosary was recited on January 16, 2011. Funeral mass was held on January 17, 2011. Both services were held at Nuestra Senora de Dolores Church in Canon. Interment was held at the Nuestra Senora de Dolores Cemetery.
