Georgina Casias was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on February 6, 2022 at her home in Taos New Mexico. She was born on June 29, 1960, and raised by Louise Trujillo and Nelson Washburn. Georgina loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Louise, her father Nelson, and her grandparents Joe and Mary Trujillo. She leaves behind her son Joseph Casias (Angie) and her two grandchildren Naomi and Andrew. Her brothers Jimmy Trujillo (Jayne), George Washburn (Renee), and her sisters Georgia Ann Jaramillo (Pat) and Jackie Washburn Clark. Among the family left behind is her uncle George Trujillo (Ruby), and her aunts, Loraine Cordova (William), Josie Archuleta and Julia Trujillo. She played in important part in raising all of her nieces, nephews and godchildren, Anita Medina, Daniel Trujillo (Trina), Jaclyn Bermudez (Santino), Victoria Trujillo, David and Brandon Washburn, Jimmy and Andrew Lucero, Crystal Nobel (Stephen) and Laura And William Clark, Jennifer Outcalt and Cathy Schmitz. She continued to be a monumental influence in the lives of her great nieces and nephews, Maricela Mayers, Tranquelino and Daniella Trujillo, Ishmael and Giovannie Mohammad, Santino Bermudez Jr, Isaiah Trujillo, Anthony, Atticus and Andres Romero, Jack Nobel and soon to be Sophia Collins. Georgina had such a big heart. She had a gift of giving. She would always put others first. Her smile and laugh were contagious and she will be missed by many.
