Geraldine George

Geraldine George 82, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 with her family by her side.  She was born on July 30, 1939 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Jimmy and Rosina Escudero. She was raised in Santa Fe and made her home there. She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Rosina Escudero, her siblings, Becky Archuleta, Tommy, Janet, Sonny and Bobbi Escudero. She is survived by her loving Husband Sam George Jr, Her children, Ron (Sandi), Anthony (Darlene), Gerald (Kathy), Vicky Falance (David Sr.) her grandchildren Gayle Madrid (Anthony), David Falance Jr, Samantha, Jeffery (Maria), Patrick (Erica) and her great grandchild Joshua Falance, and several nieces and nephews. Geraldine was a devout catholic and passed that faith on to her family.  Geraldine loved her family and was very kind, generous, compassionate, and loving to all who were in her life. She enjoyed music and was a huge Elvis fan. Geraldine also loved dancing and the occasional Vegas Trip. Most of all she loved being with her family especially her grandchildren. Geraldine made a yearly pilgrimage to the Mother Cabrini Shrine until she was no longer able to make the trip. Geraldine also made sure her children received a Catholic education at St. Francis School and was extremely involved with the catholic school they attended by substituting and volunteering many hours. She was a second mother to all her children’s friends. Geraldine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Christmas time was special to her which she enjoyed decorating her house for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on March 23,2020 at Santa Maria Del La Paz Catholic Church and the funeral Mass will be held on March 24th at 8:30 AM also at Santa Maria De la Paz with interment service to held immediately after at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
