Gerald White left us on October 10th, 2014 after a lengthy fight with cancer. He was born in Leicestershire, England to Albert and Eva White. At age 21 he became the youngest manager ever in the British National Coal Board. This opened many doors for him including two years in India where he met his future wife, Jenny. After working in various parts of the world he was transferred to the US in 1974. He was proud to say that he had worked or travelled in all but two of the states. He arrived in New Mexico in March 1979 as the Project Manager of the expansion program at the Questa molybdenum mine. After that job was complete in 1982 he worked in many other states and finally returned to Angel Fire in 1998. He loved the mountains, the blue skies, the golf, and the people of northern New Mexico. He was passionate about life, fishing, his art and his MGA.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jenny; son and daughter in law, Duncan and Lisa (England) and two beautiful granddaughters, Chloe and Paige (England).
He will be sorely missed.
