Gilbert James Lovato

Gilbert James Lovato, Age 84 of Santa Fe, NM passed on Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home in Santa Fe. Gilbert was born on March 28, 1934 in Santa Fe to Francisco & Teresa Lovato who preceded him in death. Also preceding Gilbert in death were his children: Donna, Susan, and Gilbert Jr, granddaughter Danica Sandoval; son-in-law’s Daniel Sandoval and David Martinez; brothers: Estor, Del, Frank Jr, Ross and Jerry Lovato, sisters, Delia Dominguez, Lydia Lujan and Betty Lovato. He is survived by brother Edson (Lorraine); Children: Patricia Sandoval, David Bustos, Annablue Sandoval, Reina Bustos, Danielle Sandoval, Adine (Bobby) Torres, Joseph Sandoval, Andrea Sandoval and JoAnne Martinez, 15 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 9:00am at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi followed by Mass at 10:30am. Rosario will be at 11:30am with a reception at the Elks Lodge at 1:30pm.
