Gilbert Tafoya

Gilbert P. Tafoya, 64, of Espanola, NM, went to eternal rest on March 11, 2022. He was born on August 23, 1957 to father Pedro Tafoya and mother Ruth Baca-Tafoya. He was married to Marianne A. Tafoya from Dixon, NM for 25 beautiful years.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his sister Connie Lujan, brother Pete Tafoya, mother Ruth Baca-Tafoya, and father Pedro Tafoya.

Gilbert is survived by his loving wife Marianne Tafoya, his brother Carlos Tafoya, and many relatives and friends. Gilbert will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Gilbert proudly served in the United States Army in 1978. He also worked maintenance at the DeVargas Mall for 16 years. He worked as a Janitor for Clean Tech for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He also loved spending time with his cats.

There will be a private burial for the immediate family at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM, where Gilbert will be laid to rest.
