Giovanni German Avila

Giovanni Avila, 25, a resident of Santa Fe unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He was our most beloved son, father, husband, brother, family member, and friend. He was preceded in death by his uncle Victor Avila and close cousin Ernesto Baca. Giovanni is survived by his parents, German and Sharon Avila, wife Sabrina Esquibel, daughters, Milaya and Kiana Avila, and Ilyannah Martinez, sister, Tanya Valdez, brother in law, Anthony Lucero, paternal Grandmother, Carmella Avila, maternal Grandmother, Ernestina Valdez, maternal Grandfather, Joe Valdez, nephew, Isiah Valdez, nieces, Myranda Arellano, Monroe Lucero, and Cataleya Lucero, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Devotional Ceremony at the Rivera Funeral Home in Santa Fe, and a Christian burial at the Memorial Garden Cemetery.
