Gloria Jean Ortiz

Gloria Jean Ortiz, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. Born March 1, 1947 died at age 67 on July 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother Terry, and her father Art. She is survived by her two children Terry Ann Ortiz and Eugene Shelly Ortiz, her 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and her sisters Theresa Ann McDermitt and family, Rita Marie Garcia and family and her Brother Richard Conrad Ortiz and family. She was a Santa Cruz High School Graduate. Go CRUSADERS! She was a devout catholic and I'm sure has been greeted by her Mother and Father at the gates of heaven. They spent most of their later years together and now will be together as mother and daughter once again in blissful heavenly eternity. She will be missed by her remaining family and friends. God bless you our dear gentle girl. A mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola, New Mexico with burial followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
