Graciola Martinez

Surrounded by her family, Graciola Adonelia Martinez, 85 of Alcalde, NM, went home to be with our Lord peacefully on July 27, 2017. She was born and raised in Vallecitos, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Feliberto and Carlota Chavez; Beloved husband, Floyd B. Martinez; Aunt and Uncle who raised her, Daniel and Sophia Espinoza; Beloved sisters, Amalia Gilgen, Nora Martinez, and Edith Vigil. Beloved brothers, Feliberto Jr. and Leo Chavez; granddaughter, Maria Martinez and special son in law Johnny Quintana. She is survived by her children, daughter Beverly G. Quintana; sons, Eugene and wife Susan, Daniel Martinez,Sr. and Joseph J. Martinez; Grandchildren, Rocky Gonzales and Eilene, Loriann Quintana and husband Jose Vela, Amanda Martinez Olguin and husband Albert, Christopher Martinez and Daniel Martinez, Jr.; Great grandchildren, Destiny Martinez, Elizia Vela, Estrella Quintana, Natalie Martinez, Aliyah Vela, Isabel Martinez, Jose Vela, Jr., Angelo Vela, Anabel Martinez, Alexia Vela, Esperanza & Xavier Gonzales; One Great grandchild, Adriel Johnny Martinez; Surviving brother, Marcos Chavez (Lydia); Sister, Maclovia Esquibel. Also survived by many nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly. Two God daughters, Amanda & Estrella. A very close friend and neighbor, Karen and Albert Chacon. Also survived by many friends and family that she loved dearly and meant so much to her. She was a very loving, giving, strong and caring woman. Her family was everything to her. Serving as pallbearers, Daniel Martinez, Jose Vela, Albert Olguin, Doyle Villeral, Mark Chavez, Jr. and Christopher Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31st beginning at 8:30am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Alcalde, NM. A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Burial will follow at Virgin de Guadalupe Morada in Alcade. A reception will follow at the Beatrice Senior Stroke Center in Espanola, NM.
