Harold Lloyd Byford

Harold L. Byford, age 87 passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Santa Fe, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife Pat of 59 years. He was born in Stroud, Oklahoma. He was the sixth of eight children. Harold brought his family to New Mexico and joined the New Mexico State Police until his retirement. He continued in law enforcement for another 8 years and gave the citizens of New Mexico almost 32 years of honorable and dedicated service. He is survived by four children, Harold Jr., Bill, Patti and Raye. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 6pm -8pm at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1pm also at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, January 2 at 1pm, in Las Cruces, NM.
