Harry Sanchez

Harry Melvin Sanchez 70, of La Puente, NM passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Ruben Sanchez and Maria Piedad Atencio, in-law's Juisto and Lile Morfin, brother Guillermo ( Willie) Sanchez, sisters Frances Lovato, Teresa Morris and Rose Trujillo. Harry is survived by his wife Theresa Sanchez, son Jose R Sanchez wife Patricia Sanchez, daughter Loretta Sanchez, son Michael Trujillo and wife Julie Trujillo. Grandchildren, Lile Sanchez, Ryan Sanchez, Adan Sanchez, Amalia Sanchez, Mario Munoz and great-grand son Enrique Sanchez, and sisters Mickey Jaramillo, Maria Louisa Romero, Ana Marie Arrey ( Victor) and Lorrine Tapia (Jerry). In-laws Erlinda Lujan (late Frutoso), Elsie Martinez (late Johnny), Elias Johnson (Marlene) and Alberto Morfin (Berna), numerous nephew, nieces and other relatives. Harry was a loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grand children and great grandson. Harry graduated from Escalante High School, after graduation joined the US Army. Married Theresa Morfin and had two loving children and adopted a son Michael Trujillo. Harry worked as a plumber with Jeff Drake and Henry Ulibarri at Henry’s True Value. Later, he became the owner of La Puente Plumbing. Honorary Pallbearers are Alberto Morfin, George Galvan, Ralph Sanchez, Phillip Pina and Leandro Chavez . A rosary will be recited on May 31st, 2019 at 10:00 am at the San Jose Church in Los Ojos, NM, Mass will be at 11:00 am. Christian burial will be at the Las Nurtias Cemetery.
