Our beloved Hattie Celina Martinez, 82, of Embudo, born to Abenicio and Eloisa Martinez on October 31, 1934, went to her Everlasting Life on Monday, January 16, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, George and Adonise Martinez, and sisters, Tonie Martinez, Flora Romero, and Elviria (Abie) Martinez; grandpas, Pedro Montoya and Alejandro Martinez, grandmas, Concepcion Montoya and Antonia Martinez.
She is survived by her brother, William and wife Pana Martinez of Embudo; sisters, Loyola Booco, Maggie Romero and husband Silver, and Rosie Booco and their families of Denver, CO., and brother-in-law Daniel Romero of Espanola, and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Public visitation will begin on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Dixon with a rosary to be recited at 10 a.m., and mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Father Kupper’s Cemetery in Embudo with the following serving as pallbearers, Sandy Romero, Kathy Befort, Gary Booco, Brian Booco, Jaime Valdez, and Joe Olivas. Honorary pallbearers, Matthew Booco, Patsy Olivas, and Claudine Martinez.
The family would like to specially acknowledge the staff at the Espanola Valley Nursing and Rehab Center for all the love and care offered to our Hattie.
