Helen Maestas

Helen M. Maestas, 70, of Taos passed away on December 10, 2010. She retired from the Taos Municipal Schools. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente Martinez and Celia Martinez Garcia and infant brother, Herman Garcia. She is survived by her husband, Florimel Maestas, son Herman J Maestas of Pittsburg, PA daughter, Amy Coffman (Christopher) of Taos, granddaughters, Valerie and Andrea Coffman. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Vicente Martinez (Eda), Hope Mares, Naomi Miller, Paula Cummings (Roger), Albert and Benjamin Garcia and many other relatives. Evening service was held on December 13, 2010. Funeral service was held on December 14, 2010. Both were held at the Grace Brethren Church with interment held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
