Helen Romero

Helen (Elena) Romero Born May 13, 1914, Passed Away peacefully February 5, 2009 at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her parents; Cayetano and Luisa Rodriguez, brothers; Antonio, Cecil, Richard, and Joseph, and husband Joseph O. Romero. She retired from the State of New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division. She was a proud owner of Kwiki Foods Tortilla Factory, along with her husband Joseph Romero. She is survived by son Joseph Buff Romero, daughter Carmela Romero, and brother Ruben Rodriguez. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will include: Apollo Hernandez, Bo Rivera, Bernardo Rivera Jr., Brandon Lovato, Peter Romero and Bernardo Rivera Sr. Visitation will begin at 6:30pm Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at St. Anne Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm also on Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10:00am at St. Anne Catholic Church.
