Henry Manuel Olonia

In Loving Memory of Henry Manuel Olonia, born June 17, 1920 in Ranchos de Taos, NM. Henry returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, February 10, 2017. He was a veteran of World War II. He retired in 1984 from the New Mexico Highway Department with 25 years of service. Henry enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially ice fishing. He married Benina M. Olonia on February 17, 1946. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Francisquita Olonia, sons, Manuelito Olonia and Clemaco Chavez, brothers and sisters, Mike Olonia, Cora Trujillo, Flavio Olonia, Esther Trujillo and Joe Olonia. He is survived by his wife, Benina, children, Patsy Gonzales (Manuel), Elmer and Steve Olonia, brother, Frank Olonia, 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Funeral mass was held on February 15, 2017 at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Interment will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 9:45 AM the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
