Herbert Rickert

Herbert B. Rickert, jr., of Santa Fe, NM, died on 23 January 2024, just a few weeks short of his 83rd birthday.  Born in Lancaster, PA, Herbert and his family lived in Santa Fe, NM from 1973-1978, and then after many years in Iowa, he and his wife moved back to Santa Fe in 2012 after retirement. 

Herbert is survived by his wife Elizabeth Rickert, and their two children (Sarah Rickert and Michael Rickert), and five grandchildren.   

Herbert was an Air Force veteran and will be interred at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe following a military service to be held on 29 February 2024 at 1300 (1:00PM).  Following the service there will be a reception in his honor at 2:00 PM at the Nancy Rodriguez Community Center in Santa Fe.
