Horacio O. Martinez

Horacio O. Martinez, 86, a resident of Chimayo passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on March 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esquipula B. and Teresita Martinez, daughter-in-law, Brenda Martinez; siblings, Floyd, Raymond, and Carlos Martinez. Brother-in-law, James Salazar; nephews, Dominic, Jimmy, Chris, Escolastico, Ricky, and Leroy. Sisters-in-law Concha, Celina and Mariquita. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Rosina, daughter Arlene Crespin (Joseph), son Martin (Anna), grandchildren Marty Jr (Johneva), Lucas, Bobbie Jo and Desi. Great grandchildren Juan Martin, Isaiah, Celestina, Alyssa, and Analiah. He is also survived by siblings Orlando Martinez, Ida Salazar and numerous other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Chimayo, NM and the Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 9:30 AM, Holy Family Catholic Church. A reception will be held at Holy Family Parish Hall following the Funeral Mass. Interment will take place at 2:15 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
