Ida E. Hammer Chavez, 70, of Llano Quemado passed away on May 11, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugenio Chavez, parents, Samuel and Margie Hammer. She is survived by her son, Eugene Chavez Jr., sisters and brothers, Betty Trujillo (Pacomio), Ruth Montoya (Joe), Sam Hammer (Diana) and Harvey Hammer, uncles, Edward Grant Jr. and Clarence Grant, aunt, Mabel Torres, special nieces and nephews, Maria and Zenovio Medina, Lori and Tom Medina, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 6 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10 Am at San Francisco de Asis Church with interment to follow at the Los Cordovas Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
