Ignacio Carreno from El Rancho went to be with our Dear Lord on August 31, 2018. He was born on August 24, 1928 in Durango, Mexico.
He is preceded in death by Pedro and Ramona Carreno (Parents), Martin Carreno (son), Lenny Carreno (grandson), Lionedes, Ernesto, & Mario Carreno (brothers), Reina Martinez, & Martha Miranda (sisters), Georgia Ann Rael (daughter-in-law), Paul Gonzales (son-in-law), Tiffany Jimenez (grand-daughter).
He is survived by his wife, Annabelle, his children Jesus (Virginia), Katie Romero, Leonard, and Sarah Coss (Brian). Grandchildren, Dianna and Alejandra Carreno of Cd. Juarez, Mexico, Michelle Carreno, Lucas Carreno, Saydi Jimenez, Jennessy Espinoza, and Lynnae Sarmiento. Brother, Pedro Carreno. Sisters, Ramona Mata, and Teofila Lopez. Numerous other relatives and friends.
He was employed and retired from the Los Alamos Schools. He was also a black smith by trait. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and camping.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe del Valle de Pojoaque. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am., Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 am., Internment to follow at the El Rancho Cemetery. Reception will be held at the NSDG Pojoaque Parish Hall following internment. Serving as Pallbearers are Eleazar Molina, Richie Carreno, Joe Pillares, Joel Mata, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Ignacio Rodriguez, and Tivi Carreno. Honorary Pallbearers are Abel Rodriguez, Andy Lopez, Michael Miranda, Julie Pillares, Angel Carreno, Pedro Martinez, Leticia Mata, Melissa Lucero, Gino Lopez.
