Together, they spent the rest of their lives in the Pecos and Santa Fe area. Irene was a love magnet, she was very loving, caring, and compassionate. She had that special uniqueness about her that would make anyone feel like she was your best friend. Irene was sincere in her love for God, her family, and for people. She was funny and witty and she would brighten up any room she would walk in. Grandma and or auntie Irene was an incredible cook and loved feeding everyone her delicious tortillas, tamales, empanaditas, and natillas. Irene enjoyed playing cards, she loved singing and dancing, but what she loved most was spending time with her family. She impacted many lives by simply being who she was. We will all deeply miss her smile, and her laugh, and especially her warm welcoming hugs and kisses.
Her life celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 6 at 1:00 pm at Rivera Family Funeral Home 417 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM. We the family, would like to thank all of our family and friends who have reached out with all your love and support. We love and appreciate you with all of our hearts! May God bless each and everyone of you.
