Isela Esparza

Isela Esparza, age 78, passed away on March 14, 2017 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was born in Juarez, Mexico on December 25, 1938 to Guadalupe and Trinidad Macias. She married Raul Esparza on February 8, 1959. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Jose, Sergio, Victor, and Aurturo Macias, her son Sergio Esparza, granddaughter Natalie Barela, and grandson Jonathan Esparza. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Raul Esparza, son Jesus Esparza (Evelyn), daughter Dana Esparza, sister Chita Macias, brother Antonio Macias, grandchildren Jason Esparza (Desiree), Leticia Esparza, Daniel Esparza and Breanna Esparza, great grandchildren Audrey, Bailey and Gabriel Esparza and many nieces, nephews and close friends. A special thank you to Reina Miera for the love, kindness and care you showed her. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 6:30pm at the Kiva Chapel of Light at Rivera’s funeral home. A mass will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 10:00am at Santa Maria De La Paz Catholic Church. Burial will be at Rosario Cemetery following the Mass. Jason and Leticia Esparza will be the pallbearers.
